About Us
Pine Grove Campground is situated on 60 acres of large overgrowth of yellow pine trees. Located on the grounds are six ponds that serve as a sanctuary for different species of ducks, geese, swans, herons, egrets, shore birds, and wading birds. Acres of woodlands and pond areas surround the campground, abundant with bird life.
There is a public boat ramp and crabbing dock within walking distance of the campground. You are only a few minutes away from town, doctors, shopping, and the National Seashore & Wildlife Refuge with miles of wild beach and nature trails, where the Chincoteague Ponies roam free.

"This unique park is great for spacious camping sites set among tall loblolly pines. Waterfowl often fly into the adjacent water feature. Llamas, some ponies, and several peacocks are an added attraction. It is also a great site for RVs and the folks in the office are very helpful."
